Passenger car

• The maximum height of a passenger car is 4.00 meters.
• The maximum width is 2.55 meters on paved roads and 2.20 meters on unpaved roads
• The maximum length of a passenger car is 12 meters. With a trailer behind it, this is 18 meters.

Trailers

• The maximum height of a trailer is 4.00 meters.
• The maximum width is 2.55 meters.
• The maximum length (incl. drawbar) is a maximum of 12.00 meters in combination with a car, this is 18 meters.

Shareable load Divisible load must not protrude more than: Back

• Maximum 1 meter behind the vehicle or trailer.
• Not more than a maximum of 5 meters from the center of the rear axle.
• Marking of this load is not mandatory.

Front The divisible load must not protrude at the front. Width

• Passenger cars and commercial vehicles up to 3,500 kg: maximum 1 meter behind the car.
• Marking of this load is not mandatory.
• Commercial vehicles over 3,500 kg and trailers: no more than 0.5 times the length of the vehicle with a maximum of 5 meters from the center of the rear axle.
• If this load protrudes more than 1 metre, then the load must be provided with a marking board.

Front

• Passenger cars and commercial vehicles up to 3,500 kg: maximum 1 meter in front of the car.
• Commercial vehicles over 3,500 kg: no more than 4.3 meters in front of the center of the front axle.
• Trailer: It is not allowed to allow cargo to protrude at the front.

Width Load that is indivisible in width may not be wider than necessary for transport. The cargo of passenger cars must not protrude more than 20 cm beyond each side of the car up to a maximum width of 2.55 meters. For trailers, the width of the vehicle, including the load, may not be wider than is necessary for transport, with a maximum of 3.00 metres. They must mark the load if it protrudes more than 10 cm from either side of the vehicle. Mark load The marking shall consist of a square board, provided with parallel diagonal stripes alternating white and fluorescent or retro-reflective red, and shall have a width of not less than 7 cm and not more than 10 cm. extended load in width may also be indicated with a rectangular sign. During transport at night, at least one white light is carried at the front and a red light at the back.
